While driving into town today Russ shows us a lovely view of the Mississippi River from the top of a bluff called “Mosquito Park.”
Jacob wonders if it is an example of truth in advertising similar to the Big Dam Bridge. (We don't see any bloodsuckers but maybe they're asleep.) Either way, he wants to share the moment and posts a picture on Facebook.
Within an hour he gets an e-mail from his friend Todd back in Arkansas. It has a file attached and reads, “I fixed your sign.”
Wow. Now that's truth in advertising.
I'm enjoying your blog! Hope you and Leighann are well and having a blast. We miss you at the Bossa Nova when we play bridge...they are taking good care of us, however!!!! Darlene
